Four nights dinner bed & breakfast
Four night package includes choice of menu, a welcome drink on arrival, tea/coffee after dinner, entertainment on two nights, an afternoon cream tea on the Bo’ness and Kenneal Railway, and lunch at the Brenachoile Restaurant.

Situated on the green within the pretty village of Drymen on the east side of Loch Lomond. This former coaching Inn, has been lovingly restored and tastefully extended to its present day form. Facilities include: Charming Merlin restaurant; and cosy Ptarmigan Bar & Lounge. No lift, however there are plenty of ground floor rooms available on request. Porterage is included.

Itinerary

WEDNESDAY
We journey north with suitable stops en route, and arrive in Drymen during the afternoon with time to settle into our rooms, before joining our host for a welcome drink followed by a three course candle lit dinner.

THURSDAY
After breakfast today’s excursion takes us to Loch Katrine for a two hour cruise along the full length of the loch aboard the SS Steam Ship Sir Walter Scott, followed by a delicious lunch in the loch side Brenochoile Restaurant. Back at the hotel this evening’s dinner is following by musical entertainment.

FRIDAY
Today we head to the steam driven Falkirk Wheel, and enjoy a unique ride on the world’s first and only rotating boat lift. During the afternoon we board the Bo’ness and Kenneal Railway for a steam train ride, and we have chartered a dining car in which you can relax in style and enjoy a delightful cream tea. Return to Drymen for dinner followed by Scottish Night.

SATURDAY
We explore Loch Lomond and the Lomond Shores retail centre. In the afternoon a Tea Dance on board the Steamship Maid of the Loch (the boat does not sail). After dinner this evening, relax in one of the hotel’s lounges or bar.

SUNDAY
We bid a fond farewell to Scotland and commence our homeward journey, making suitable stops en route.
