Three nights dinner bed & breakfast, and entertainment on two evenings
Set in rural North Wales a short drive from the historic market town of Mold. Facilities include: The Orchard Restaurant; Arches Bar; Coffee Lounge; and free Wi-Fi. Porterage is included. No lift, however there are plenty of ground floor rooms
Outward journey to Rode Hall Gardens, where there are over fifty different varieties of snowdrops to be seen in the magnificent setting of Rode’s Humphry Repton landscape. This mile long walk is perfect for nature lovers of all ages, and the swathes of cascading white flowers are a sight to behold (we recommend stout shoes and warm clothing). We continue to our hotel and enjoy tea/coffee and Bara Brith on arrival, before settling in to our rooms.
A morning excursion to Port Sunlight Village, where we include a guided tour. Port Sunlight is unique, and those who visit for the first time are usually astonished at what they discover. The late 19th century village was built by William Hesketh Lever to house his soap factory workers, and it is an enduring testament to the achievements of this remarkable man. From here we continue to Chester for an afternoon at leisure in the city. As well as top class shopping in The Rows, the city is home to many sites of historical importance.
A lovely scenic circular tour through the Snowdonia National Park. Our first stop is Llandudno, with its magnificent promenade, from here we continue along the coast, before turning inland to Llanberis, in the shadow of Mount Snowdon. Our journey takes us on then to Betws-y-Coed, set in a beautiful valley in Snowdonia Forest Park, before returning to our hotel.
A leisurely departure with a suitable stop en route, before continuing homeward.
