Holiday Itinerary

Outward journey with comfort stops en route. We arrive in plenty of time for your evening meal.

DAY 2

A scenic drive to St Ives, one of Cornwall’s top destinations, and a town attracting artists who come to capture the area’s beauty.  From here we continue to Land’s End, one of our country’s most famous landmarks, before returning via Penzance and Marazion, with views of St Michael’s Mount.

We travel through unique countryside to the harbour village of Mevagissey with its colourful fishing boats, and where you might like to try a fresh crab sandwich. Return to Newquay for an afternoon at leisure.

A day at leisure. You might choose to take the local bus to the capital city of Truro, where centre stage is the beautiful cathedral surrounded by a maze of intriguing side streets, or simply relax and enjoy Newquay.

An afternoon excursion to Prideaux Place for a guided tour of this 400 year old family owned Elizabethan manor. From here we continue to Padstow, one of Cornwall’s oldest harbour towns, with its fine medieval buildings, including the 16th century courthouse of Sir Walter Raleigh.

DAY 6

We visit the 26 acre sub-tropical paradise of Trebah Garden, with its stunning coast backdrop. The garden comes alive in spring with a colourful array of rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias. The garden is an absolute delight, however please be aware that there are sloping paths, and sensible footwear is recommended.  On in the afternoon to Falmouth, when you will have time if you wish to take the return ferry ride to St Mawes (cost not included).

We depart after breakfast to commence our homeward journey.

Note:  Our five day tours excludes day five and six, and our six day tours exclude day three of the itinerary
