We make our way to Kensington Palace for our timed entry into the exhibition. Kensington Palace was a place of unique significance in the life of Princess Diana. As well as being her home from 1981, she also hosted regular receptions for her many charities in the State Apartments and Orangery. The Palace was also the scene of a worldwide tribute to her in 1997. Diana: Her Fashion Story aims to trace the evolution of the Princess's style from the demure romantic outfits of her first public appearance, to the glamour, elegance and confidence of her later life. After the exhibition there will be time at leisure, before commencing our homeward journey late afternoon.
