Holiday Itinerary

We travel to Pembrokeshire with suitable stops en route, and arrive at our hotel with time to settle in before dinner

With the benefit of a full day guide we are led on a tour that will give both the history of the area and a panoramic snapshot of the county. The day will include a visit to a craft studio to meet a practising crafts person and will have breaks in locations where galleries and studios can be explored at leisure, including St David’s the smallest city in Britain.

Today we enjoy a morning visit to the ancient town of Carmarthen, known as Merlin’s City in the legend of King Arthur. In the afternoon we take a ride on the Gwili Steam Railway alongside the picturesque Gwili River. Our visit includes afternoon cream tea, an insight into the history of the railway, a tour of the museum, Victorian Signal Box, Great Western Railway station buildings, Edwardian waiting room and ticket office.

A trip to the lovely seaside resort of Tenby, one of the most popular and well known resorts in Wales. Stroll the narrow cobbled streets, wander along the harbour, and perhaps relax in one of the many cafes and public houses.

After breakfast we begin our homeward journey, taking a suitable break along the way.
