A delightful excursion calling first at Totnes on the River Dart, and continuing to the picturesque port of Dartmouth, and the pretty town of Kingsbridge, at the head of the Salcombe estuary.

We drive to Dawlish, a seaside resort flanked by red cliffs, before continuing to Powderham Castle, which lies in a unique setting on the banks of the Rive Exe. On this enchanting visit you will discover nearly 600 years of history within the walls of one of England’s
oldest family homes, and our guided tour will reveal lavish rooms, secrets of the castle, and a glimpse of life
below stairs.

A half day to the quaint village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor, set in a beautiful Dartmoor valley and dominated by an elegant church.

Departing after breakfast we begin our homeward journey, making suitable stops en route.
