FRIDAY On our outward journey we visit Arley Hall Gardens, a place of enormous charm and outstanding historical interest, and regarded as one of the finest gardens in Europe. From here we continue to the Beaufort Park where tea and Bara Brith will be served on arrival.
SATURDAY From the pretty town of Llangollen we join the Rheilffordd Llangollen Railway for a nostalgic train ride. Next we have a trip on the Llangollen Canal, the country's biggest navigable aqueduct, known as the “Stream in the Sky”.
SUNDAY A morning excursion to Port Sunlight Village, where we include a guided tour. Port Sunlight is unique, and those who visit for the first time are usually astonished at what they discover. The late 19th century village was built by William Hesketh Lever to house his soap factory workers, and it is an enduring testament to the achievements of this remarkable man. From here we continue homeward.
