MONDAY On our outward journey we take a break at Foxton Locks, a unique waterway landmark with its famous flight of ten locks, and where there will be time for a lunch break. From here we continue to Great Malvern for our three night stay.

TUESDAY With the benefit of a local guide we take a relaxing scenic drive around some of the villages in Herefordshire's beautiful “Black and White” villages trail. Our route takes in delightful cottages, inns and shops in timber framed hamlets, including Dilwyn, Weobley, Eardisley,Pembridge and Eardisland. Free time in Leominster, before returning to the hotel.

WEDNESDAY We make our way to Ross-on-Wye. Perched dramatically above the river, this market town has a picturesque village atmosphere and an impressive 17th century Market House. By far the best way to
discover the beauty of the River Wye is by boat. We enjoy a relaxing 45 minute river cruise, with tea/coffee included, and have time at leisure to explore the town. As we make our way back to Malvern we call in to
Westons Cider Mill for a tour and tasting experience, and discover the craft of cider making from blossom to bottle with an expert guide.

THURSDAY This morning we visit Hampton Court Castle and Gardens. The oldest part of the castle dates back to 1427, and the sumptuous gardens include beautiful herbaceous borders, water features, a maze and
fantastic forest views. The castle has been fully restored and retains a truly special atmosphere. We depart mid afternoon to make our way homeward.
