MONDAY We journey to Somerset, making a convenient stop en route, and arrive at Cricket St Thomas for our four night stay.
TUESDAY A drive to the stunning Jurassic coast. First we call at Sidmouth, a delightful Regency town nestling beneath majestic red cliffs and green hills. From Sidmouth we continue to the historic and unspoilt resort and fishing port of Lyme Regis, known as the "Pearl of Dorset", and set in the world famous Cobb harbour.
WEDNESDAY A day at leisure to relax and enjoy some of the many activities on offer.
THURSDAY A half day excursion to the National Trust property Montacute House, in the picturesque village sharing its name. Inside this beacon of Elizabethan pomp and style is Britain's longest remaining Long Gallery. Outside wibbly-wobbly hedges, hidden paths and parkland entice exploration..
FRIDAY We travel home with suitable stops en route.
