One night dinner bed & breakfast
In an enviable position in the centre of Solihull, part of the hotel is housed in one of England's oldest Tudor inns, and the timber framed building has views over the ancient bowling green. Bedrooms are in the modern wing, with many on the ground floor. Facilities include: Restaurant; bar; and complimentary Wi-Fi.
SATURDAY We make our way to Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market held in Victoria Square and the upper part of New Street. You'll find traditional handmade toys and decorations, as well as German wines and goodies not usually available in the UK. Following feedback from last year, our coach will drop off in Birmingham late afternoon and make the short transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
SUNDAY A morning at leisure. The Ramada Hotel is right on the doorstep of Solihull's stylish High Street with its boutique shops, the only John Lewis in the West Midlands, and plenty of cafes and bars. We transfer to Arena Birmingham for the 2pm performance of the Tattoo. With massed bands, parade of standards, field gun competition, lone piper and a spectacular Grand Finale the Tattoo promises to be a memorable event. After the performance we join our coach for the journey home.
