Four nights dinner bed & breakfast, two nights entertainment, and one cream tea
The Manor Hotel enjoys panoramic views of the bay, is next to the delightful Manor Gardens, just five minutes from the town centre, and a short walk to the sea. Facilities include: Restaurant; lounge; ballroom; bar; and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel has a lift, however there are three steps to the front door, and 3 or 4 steps to the lift. Due to the historic nature of the building it may not be entirely suitable for those with mobility issues. Porterage is included.
THURSDAY Outward journey to Exmouth, arriving in comfortable time to enjoy tea/coffee & biscuits. A complimentary glass of wine will be included with dinner this evening.
FRIDAY Today we visit Exeter, a small city, and one of the most attractive and historically interesting in England. It’s just a 4 minute walk between the magnificent cathedral and the award inning Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, where admission is free. You may also wish to visit the beautiful quayside, or enjoy the stylish shops.
SATURDAY This morning we travel to Sidmouth, a Regency town on the Jurassic Coast. In the afternoon we make our way to the Donkey Sanctuary, an award winning attraction, and home to hundreds of friendly rescue donkeys. We enjoy a guided tour and afternoon cream team in the restaurant overlooking the donkeys’ paddocks and the coast, and have time to browse the exhibitions and gift shop, before returning to our hotel. Please wear suitable footwear for the weather conditions today.
SUNDAY We call first at Teignmouth, before making our way to the thriving resort of Torquay with its iconic palm trees and busy harbour. We have time to explore, and to visit Bygones, where you can see, smell and hear the bustle of a life size Victorian street, and visit exhibitions full of authentic displays from Wartime Britain to the Fabulous 50’s.
MONDAY We depart after breakfast and commence our homeward journey.
