Holiday Itinerary

TUESDAY An early morning departure for our channel crossing to Calais, and continue to the Hotel Kyriad Beaune, for bed and breakfastaccommodation.

WEDNESDAY We continue to the French Riviera, and our hotel in the seaside resort of St Aygulf.

THURSDAY A morning at leisure to relax, and an afternoon visit to the neighbouring resort of Saint Raphaël, beautifully situated at the foot of the Estérel. Take a stroll down the narrow old streets, or along the Promenade des Bains leading to the nautical centre on one side, and lush public gardens on the other.

FRIDAY A morning excursion to Grasse, a pretty town in the hills north of Cannes, and a town synonymous with perfumery since the 16th century. We enjoy a tour of one of the perfumeries, and have time to explore the town. In the afternoon we continue to Cannes for free time and to enjoy this relaxed town with its wonderful beachfront promenade and boutique shops.

SATURDAY Today we visit St Tropez, where this fashionable playground of the rich and famous morphs into a quiet pretty village at this time of year. Enjoy wandering around the narrow streets and old port, and visit the morning market on the Place des Lices. In the afternoon we call at the charming coastal village of Port Grimaud, known as the “Venice of Provence”. It offers traditional French fisherman’s houses set along a series of canals.

SUNDAY The charming French town of Menton, on the Cote d’Azur, is host to the annual Lemon Festival. This unique citrus-scented celebration is one of the most popular events of the year, when floats parade through the streets with fabulous constructions made of fruit. A fun way to get your fix of vitamin C! For today we have reserved seats to give you a great vantage point to view the event, which includes admission to Bioves Gardens.

MONDAY We depart after breakfast and journey to Beaune for our final night with dinner bed & breakfast at the Hotel Kyriad.

TUESDAY We travel back to Calais and our channel crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening.
