Four nights dinner bed & breakfast, two nights entertainment
A striking Grade II listed building, enjoying magnificent views of the Exe estuary and the beautiful coastline, with attractive gardens overlooking the Esplanade. The seafront and town’s amenities are within easy walking distance. Facilities include restaurant; lounge; ballroom; bar; and complimentary WiFi. The hotel has a lift, however there are steps down from the lounge to the bar, and steps into the main entrance, therefore it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
MONDAY Outward journey to Exmouth, arriving in comfortable time for dinner.
TUESDAY We call first at Teignmouth, a stunning coastal resort boasting historic Georgian buildings, a lovely high street and long sandy beaches. The river beach is full of boats and has a charming atmosphere making it the perfect place for a gentle stroll. Following time at leisure here we head to Dawlish, a traditional seaside town, centred around The Lawn and Brook, which is home to the famous black swans.
WEDNESDAY To Sidmouth first, a charming Regency town on the Jurassic Coast, for a morning at leisure. We then make the short transfer to Devon’s most magnificent botanical gardens, Bicton Park. The superbly landscaped park includes historic glass houses and a countryside museum. A cream tea will also be included during our visit.
THURSDAY A day at leisure in our resort, to relax at the hotel, or to seek out the diverse selection of shops, places to eat and things to do - perhaps take the land train for a tour of the town, which stops outside the hotel (charges apply).
FRIDAY We depart after breakfast and commence our homeward journey.
