A lovely short break incorporating the return of the National Theatre’s acclaimed production of War Horse, in an all-new UK tour. At the outbreak of World War One, Joey – young Albert’s beloved horse, is sold to the Cavalry and shipped to France. He is soon caught up in enemy fire, and fate takes him on an extraordinary journey, serving on both sides before finding himself alone in No Man’s Land. Albert embarks on a treacherous mission to find his horse Joey, and bring him home.

Itinerary

FRIDAY Outward journey, taking breaks en route in Hunstanton and at Norfolk Lavender. We continue to our hotel, where we enjoy an early dinner, and then make the transfer to Norwich Theatre for the evening showing of War Horse.

SATURDAY Following breakfast, we transfer into Norwich for some time at leisure. Enjoy exploring this compact city of heritage and culture, with its ancient and beautiful buildings lining the narrow cobbled streets and lanes. We depart mid afternoon and commence our journey home.
